Guests will gather outside the Clock Shadow Building’s Bruce Street entrance at 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm on Saturday, September 25th for guided tours.
This is a 5-story building with one elevator (and stairs), so it is anticipated that it will take several minutes to get all visitors up to the roof while staying socially distanced. Guests will then spend about 15 minutes with a staff member on the roof learning how they use the space, what they grow, and how the roof functions as a part of the building itself.
Masks are required while inside the Clock Shadow building (regardless of vaccination status) as there is a medical clinic in the building.
CORE El Centro is also throwing a Block Party and fundraiser on Bruce Street between 1st and 2nd street during these tours (September 25th, 1-4pm)
The Block Party will feature 20-minute classes in the street 1:30pm (Nia dancing), 2:30 (TBD), and 3:30pm (yoga). There will be games, raffles, a bounce house, taco truck, bake sale, and MORE.
All are welcome to join in the fun!
