Romanesque Revival/Richardsonian style built in 1884 using Lake Superior Sandstone, a dark red sandstone found near the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior. Stunning, historical Tiffany stained glass windows among other historical treasures.

This Richardson Romanesque church was dedicated in 1884. The virtual tour on the church website features drone footage of the exterior and interior of the building, illustrated narrative about  the 46 stained glass windows (the largest collection of Tiffany windows in the state of Wisconsin), a Flemish tapestry from the 16th century, and nationally recognized Salviati Mosaics accompanied by choral works and organ music performed by The Choral Scholars of St. Paul’s and Canon Joseph A. Kucharski on the Schantz organ (Opus 2307, 2012).
