Riverside is one of three Milwaukee parks designed circa 1892 by Frederick Law Olmsted, the “Father of American Parks.” We will explore its past and present in terms of connectivity, mixed uses and “passages of scenery.” We’ll also explore Olmstedian concepts that laid the foundation for Milwaukee Country’s park system.
