Remarkable Milwaukee 2020

Remarkable Milwaukee 2020

Thursday, February 20, 2020

Discovery World Pavilion, 500 N Harbor Dr.

Each year, Historic Milwaukee, Inc. honors businesses and individuals that have a strong history in Milwaukee and have made exemplary contributions to the city’s heritage and the built environment at our annual gala, Remarkable Milwaukee.

In 2020, Historic Milwaukee will honor CG Schmidt, a four-generation construction management firm in celebration of their 100 years of building in Milwaukee and all of Wisconsin.

During Remarkable Milwaukee, Milwaukee historian John Gurda will speak about the history of the company.

CG Schmidt has helped transform Milwaukee’s skyline with these projects and many more:

  • Northwestern Mutual Tower
  • Milwaukee Art Museum - Calatrava Addition
  • 833 East Michigan Street
  • Summerfest’s North End Redevelopment

The fundraising dinner will take place at Discovery World, which offers stunning views of CG Schmidt’s most impressive downtown work.
