The 39th annual Spaces & Traces neighborhood tour has been postponed until May 8, 2021. This tour invites the public to tour 20+ residential and commercial properties in Harambee and Riverwest.
Historic Milwaukee has been monitoring news from the Centers for Disease Control and Governor Evers and their guidance for keeping us safe during this public health crisis. Historic Milwaukee has postponed this tour until May 8, 2021.
The tour will feature 10 residential properties in Harmabee, eight residential properties in Riverwest, and five non-residential properties throughout both neighborhoods. Tours of all residential properies focus on the history and architecture of the home and are led by volunteer docents.
Where to Start the Tour
Start your day at one of the event headquarters to pick up a tour booklet which includes a map of all featured properties. From there, you can start and end your tour at any of the featured properties. If you puchase tickets online, you will receive a list of all participating properties and make your own itinerary.
Tickets and tour booklets are available at event headquarters from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Please follow posted signs and parking regulations when parking and respect neighbor driveways.
There are multiple bus lines that stop near or pass through the neighborhoods: 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 40U, 60.
Interior photography is not permitted at any of the residential properties on the tour.
Event Guide Advertising
Spaces & Traces typically attracts more than 800 people during the event which lasts from 9 am to 5 pm on May 9.

- Offer a discount to tour takers on the day of the event. Businesses who provide a discount or deal to tour goers will be listed in the program guide at no fee.
