Volunteer for Spaces & Traces
Volunteer shifts are just 3 hours and you can choose your own time slot: 8:30-11:30 a.m., 11:30-2:30 p.m., 2:30-5:30 p.m. Volunteer assignments include ticket sales or home/building guide. Our greatest need is for guides.
Home/building guides work under the direction of a building captain and are given short scripts on the history of the site to share with guests as they tour through the home or building. Guides also monitor guests and help make sure everything runs safely and smoothly.
A good tour guide is friendly, welcoming and outgoing. Scripts do not need to be memorized and a background in architecture/history is not necessary. We love having a wide variety of volunteers!
Volunteer orientation will be held Saturday, April 29 at Nicolet High School. We urge all volunteers to attend the volunteer orientation. You will be visiting your assigned home/building with your building captain that day and reviewing your script. If you absolutely cannot attend, your building captain will get in touch with you and review your volunteer assignment.

Please let us know of any special needs you may have as a volunteer (prefer to sit vs. stand, walker or wheelchair, etc.) or if you are carpooling with another volunteer and need to work a same location/time.
