This complex consists of four, six-story structures constructed in several phases starting in 1893. The first, the Wellauer Building was designed by H. C. Koch & Company for Wellauer & Hoffman Company, a grocery wholesaler. There is also the Breslauer Building, another H.C. Koch design, a warehouse and store for A. Breslauer & Company, a wine and liquor importer and distiller. The complex is now home to 104 condos, a clubhouse room, exercise room and sauna.
