About the Building

Built and operated as the Hotel Wisconsin in 1913, this Flemish Renaissance Revival style building was converted to apartments in 2007. The steeply pitched roof, colorful ornamental brickwork and interior finishes are reminiscent of European inns and hotels. William Holabird (1854-1923) and Martin Roche (1853-1927) were pioneers in the construction of tall office buildings and hotels.
