Created in celebration of America 250, this activity booklet highlights the creative people whose work has left a lasting mark on Milwaukee—from influential architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, Edward Townsend Mix, and Donald L. Grieb to contemporary artists Evelyn Terry, Emma Daisy, Celeste Carroll and Adam Carr. Along the way, solve puzzles, spot the difference, and color your way through Milwaukee's history while learning how creativity, design, and community have helped shape our city.
The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee is also featured throughout the booklet, featuring activities that invite you to explore the people, places, and ideas that make UWM a unique part of Milwaukee’s story.
