Ticket Sale Information
Tickets went on sale to members of Historic Milwaukee on Sept 4 and the general public Sept 11.
Remember, there are 150+ buildings to tour for free, no ticket required on 9/28 and 9/29: View Building List
Ticket Fees
The following tours range from free to $10/ticket. Ticket fees help offset the cost of ticketing software and support the organization that brings you Doors Open. Municipal tours are free but reservations are required.
Waitlist
If a tour is full, you are welcome to add yourself to the waitlist. One entry on the waitlist = one ticket, if you need 3 tickets, add yourself three times.
To ensure tickets are used, waitlists will be suspended on Monday, Sept. 23rd and available tickets will be added back to the Eventbrite pages. HMI will post updates to our social media channels
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations with a refund will only be available for 48 hours after purchase. If you are unable to attend after 48 hours, we appreciate the courtesy of a cancellation to make tickets available to another attendee.

What to Know about Booking Tickets
There is no secret or trick to securing tickets, it is simply a matter of luck. If you are purchasing tickets for the first time or are trying to get on your most desired tour, here is the best advice we can offer:
First, take a look at the tours that are being offered. Prioritize the list and start with the tour you are most excited about.
Be sure you know the time and ticket total you need. Tours are listed in alphabetical order by day. Tour tickets are not reserved until payment is complete so be sure to have your payment information ready.
In reality, thousands of people are competing to fill a very limited number of tour slots, and this is why our staff works so hard to ensure the free buildings are varied from year to year. We want everyone to have a great experience whether they get tour tickets or not. We know the ticket buying process can be a bit tense, but we do our best to ensure the process is fair for all.
