Green Tech Station Tour

Walk through a brand new green space designed as an environmental education destination, featuring all different types of green infrastructure in one unique site. Learn about how Green Tech Station manages water where it falls using bioswales, native prairie, trees, and underground cistern and constructed wetland! The site also contains an open-air pavilion and water technology test plaza which can accommodate field trips, tours, community groups/events, water-related experiments and/or product testing.

Green Tech Station was completed in 2021. Formerly a City-owned brownfield site used as a truck filling station with aboveground storage tanks, the Green Tech Station project team has been working since 2016 to clean up the contaminants and reimagine the site as one that features innovative water technology and green infrastructure.
