Historic Cocktail Lounge Tour

Join Historic Milwaukee for a tour of some of Milwaukee’s most iconic cocktail lounges! John Dye, historian and owner of Bryant’s, At Random and the Jazz Estate, will lead this tour of both current cocktail lounges and relics of lounges from the past.

Tour Details: This tour offers a shuttle ride to each location and will return participants to At Random where the tour begins. Must be 21 years old to attend.

Tour Stops: 
Current Cocktail Lounges – 4 Stops 
Attendees will go inside each of these lounges and enjoy a specialty cocktail plus historical information.

   2. The Alley Cat Lounge (2416 W State St)
   3. Milwaukee Athletic Club – Elephant Room (758 N Broadway)
   4. Bryant’s Cocktail Lounge (1579 S 9th St)

Historic Stops: The tour will also include brief stops at three relics of lounges where John will share historical information. Attendees will stay on the shuttle for these stops.

What’s Included?
A shuttle ride to all locations with guided historic narration. One half sized cocktail will be served at each lounge.  Each Lounge will serve a different classic cocktail. No meals provided, participants encouraged to eat a meal before the tour.

This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Attendees will need to navigate stairs to board the shuttle.
