Online Silent Auction
The Remarkable Milwaukee Auction will be held online from February 16-26, browse items here before bidding goes live on February 16th.
2023 Event: This year’s gala will be held in-person at the newly renovated George and Madcap Lounge in Walker’s Point. The evening will kick off with hors d’oeuvres and access to the speakeasy style Madcap Lounge. A sit-down catered dinner and presentations in The George ballroom from the honorees will follow.
5:30 pm: Doors open, enjoy live jazz with the Steph Lippert trio, hors d’oeuvres in the speakeasy style Madcap Lounge
7:00 pm: Dinner & Program with Honorees
2023 Honorees
- Scott Crawford Inc. for the Community Within the Corridor development. Located at 33rd and Center, this development of the former Briggs & Stratton complex converted historic factory buildings into apartments, commercial uses and recreational space.
- National Block LLC for extensive renovation of The George & Madcap Lounge. Located at 5th and National, this 1850-1900 building is now home to apartments, a grand ballroom and speakeasy.
- Wangard Partners, Inc. for redevelopment of the historic Eagle Knitting Mills building into the Eagleknit Innovation Hub. Located on 2nd and Virginia in Walker’s Point, this 1928 former knitting factory has been transformed into a tech-oriented hub for start-ups and established firms.
