Building Description

Step back in time and experience the golden age of railroading! Founded in 1936, the Model Railroad Club of Milwaukee is one of the oldest continuously operating model railroad clubs in the country. Located inside the historic Allis Station (a former Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway depot), the club features an intricate HO-scale layout that brings Milwaukee’s rail heritage to life. Watch detailed trains wind through realistic landscapes, tunnels, and city scenes—all built and maintained by passionate club members. Visitors of all ages will enjoy seeing how history, craftsmanship, and technology come together in this miniature world.
