The House of RAD (Resident Artist Doers) is a sanctuary for artists, by artists. Built on a foundation of solidarity and mutual support, it fuels creativity and fosters deep connections within our community. We empower artists and partners with resources, support, and platforms that amplify their work, enriching creators and audiences. Through interdisciplinary exhibitions and experiences, we invite everyone to immerse themselves in our collective vision, expanding the possibilities of how art is perceived and experienced.
Our new 2-story 65,000 sq ft warehouse is home to 80+ artist tenants and members. The building was built in the 1870s, starting as the Hilti Lumber Mill, then Cutler-Hammer Company, then Aldrich Chemical Company, then as Brass Light Gallery Storage, and now as the new home for the House of RAD.
