Built in 1913 by architects Schnetzky & Sons built for the Milwaukee Gaslight Company.

600 EAST Wisconsin Avenue was renovated by its current owner Dan Nelson Jr. to house his marketing agency Nelson Schmidt Inc. and 600 EAST Cafe & Business Center. Features of the building include Chicago pink brick, a massive steel beam superstructure, and old-growth forest Douglas Fir floor joists to create an inviting environment. It was home to many tenants, including the Spencerian College, Lyons Drugstore, the Great Circus Parade and more. In 2022, Mauricio Ramirez painted a three-story mural of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo on the east side of the building. The recreation of the nearly 7-foot-tall forward towers 54 feet over downtown Milwaukee.

600 EAST Cafe will have food and beverage available for purchase throughout the event.
