Amorphic Beer and Elevated Acre

The building was constructed in 1915 by the A.H. Peterson Co., and built the world’s first electric hand tool to supply the model T production line. After a fire in 1923, the business salvaged what they could and moved on to become Milwaukee Tool. Today the amorphic beer taproom and private dining facility (Elevated Acre) sits in the original offices, a production brewery and event space operates in the former manufacturing facility. The building also houses a tool and die company (VTX tool) and a motorcycle repair cooperative (Create Moto MKE). The building is decorated with antiques salvaged from various estates sales around the midwest, and even has a secret “beer alley” patio you might discover.
