Art Intersection MKE

Art Intersection MKE’s Community Resilience Hub will cover just under one acre in Milwaukee’s Washington Park as a green space and open-air gallery. A newly constructed bioswale, planted with native grasses, flowers, and trees, will capture and cleanse stormwater while providing habitat for local wildlife.

Site-specific sculptures and vibrant murals will be woven into pathways, open spaces, and stormwater features, transforming functional infrastructure into interactive art. The result will be a living tapestry of environmental resilience and creative expression, inviting visitors to explore, learn, and connect amid art, nature, and community.
