Broadway Theatre Center

The Broadway Theatre Center, operated by Skylight Music Theatre, was completed in 1993. The complex includes the Cabot Theatre and Studio Theatre, the Skylight Bar and Bistro, and the Dorothea C. Mayer Salon.

The Cabot Theatre is a replica of an 18th century, Jewel Box Opera House – Le théâtre de la Coupe d’Or, in Rochefort France. Patrons enjoy a grand entrance to an stunning theatre which includes the modern luxury of state of the art theatrical systems, wide seats, comfortable spaces between rows, and upholstered, free-standing chairs in the boxes. The Cabot Theatre seats 358, with 221 of these seats on the orchestra level in 12 rows with unobstructed views. There are 89 seats in the dress circle (first balcony) and 48 seats in the gallery (second balcony). There is an undeniable connection between audience and performers in this beautiful and intimate venue.

The Dorothea C. Mayer Salon is a European-style salon located on the second level and overlooks Catalano Square. It is a large, beautiful space that is flexible in seating arrangements, accommodating up to 50 people seated at tables, 100 people seated assembly style or standing.

The Skylight Bar is an attractive cabaret-style space with tables and chairs seating up to 100, with standing room for 150. The Skylight Bar is suitable for receptions and meetings, and includes a small stage for intimate performances.

The Studio Theatre is a black box style theatre. It features loose chair seating for up to 99 in an informal atmosphere, which allows the audience to feel a personal connection with the performers.
