Building Description
The building was built in 1904 as the first delivery grocery service in Milwaukee, then became a book bindery, and now almost 100 years later is a brewery! You’ll see original cream city brick and nods to the past, along with repurposed wood and a dedication of their eco conscious green initiative.
Visitor Experience
Get a behind-the-scenes tour of the brewery and taproom, hear all about their brew system, and learn about what makes the space unique with their green initiative, featuring a bioswale full of native Wisconsin plants and greenery. You’ll get to take this tour while enjoying a free mini pour of beer or craft soda (you pick)! You’ll also get to experience the Flock Party (Anniversary Party) featuring fun food specials, live music, and delicious treats from local vendors! Dead Bird Brewing Co. is family friendly so bring the whole crew with you!
