Building Description
Located in the heart of Milwaukee’s Historic Financial District, also known as the Hi-Fi District, The Huron Building stands within the center of the city’s early business and financial activity. Once the heartbeat of Milwaukee’s economy before the city was formally established, the district remains a thriving hub of commerce and culture today.
Completed in 2020, The Huron Building was thoughtfully designed to elevate the neighborhood while honoring its history. Its scale, materials, and architecture complement the surrounding historic buildings, creating a contemporary landmark that feels both modern and timeless.
Visitor Experience
Visitors to The Huron Building will have the opportunity to explore the seventh floor, an undeveloped space that offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at one of Milwaukee’s newest additions to the Historic Financial District. Guests can experience the raw potential of the space while taking in panoramic views of downtown Milwaukee, Lake Michigan, and the surrounding cityscape.
This self-guided experience provides a rare perspective on the building’s contemporary design and its connection to the historic neighborhood below. Informational displays will highlight The Huron Building’s development, architectural features, and the history of Milwaukee’s Hi-Fi District.
