Building Description
See how the former “New Road School”, an MPS building established in the mid 1910’s and closed in 1980, has been transformed into the largest Islamic Center in Wisconsin. The main building was purchased in 1982 and there have been multiple expansions since that time. In 2023, the main prayer space was renovated.
Come view multiple exhibits about the history of Muslims in the U.S., gain general knowledge about the very diverse Muslim community, tour the building and enjoy a variety of snacks.
Visitor Experience
You will have student conducted tours of the entire facility, including the prayer hall and the school building. You will have the opportunity to view unique educational exhibits, to obtain a henna art design, and to enjoy a variety of cultural and other snacks.
