PEAK was founded in 2004 as Lake Valley Camp. In 2010 Lake Valley Camp took residence in Tiefenthaler Park’s building which was built in 1979. Over the years it has been home to the Midtown Neighborhood Association and now PEAK.

As PEAK rebranded in 2019 we expanded renovations at the end of 2020 and the new extension opened in June of 2021.
Their mission is to bring out the limitless potential in young leaders through extraordinary experiences and nurturing relationships. At PEAK, leadership is defined as understanding, developing and using your power to positively influence people and/or places. At their center, they provide after school, weekend and summer programs for young people and their families throughout Milwaukee.
Visitors will be able to tour the building and participate in some favorite crafts along the way.
