The Lynden Sculpture Garden, the former estate of Harry and Peg Bradley, offers a unique experience of art in nature through its collection of more than 50 monumental sculptures sited across 40 acres of park, lake, and woodland. The Bradleys purchased the original farmhouse, barn, and cornfield in the 1920s. They transformed the landscape, made some additions to the house, and began collecting sculpture in 1962. Further renovations were done as Lynden prepared to open to the public in 2010. Visit the Milwaukee Bonsai Foundation’s Bonsai Exhibit, take a sculpture mini-tour, check out a self-guided activity, or explore on your own. (Please note, there are no paths at Lynden. The ground is uneven and wheelchair users have to be comfortable navigating on short grass.)
