The “inverted pyramid” architectural design of MGIC’s 4-story headquarters has made it one of Milwaukee’s most unique buildings since its completion in 1973.
Architect engineers for the development were Fitzhugh Scott Architects, Inc. and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, who also designed such famous works as the Hancock Building and Willis Tower (originally known as the Sears Tower) in Chicago. A guided tour will showcase the Warren Platner designed interior features and museum-quality works by artists Alicia Penalba and Sheila Hicks.
