Founded in 1882, the Milwaukee Athletic Club (MAC) has been a pillar of the downtown community for 140 years.

The MAC has been in its current Clubhouse at 758 N Broadway since 1917. You will find an abundance of history within its walls – the place where generations of Milwaukee’s leaders have come to collaborate.

Visitors will have the opportunity to view the reimagined MAC and many of its iconic spaces. There will be access to the Lower Level, Floors 3 & 4, as well as the Rooftop. These spaces include our restored Grand Ballroom, the historic Elephant Room, Olympic Ballroom, Poage Room, salt water pool, and a 270 degree view of Milwaukee from the Rooftop Terrace. The athletics facilities are open to members and will not be available to view during Doors Open.

The Club has just emerged from a $65 million renovation with a focus on maintaining our long-standing historical beauty, top-to-bottom renovation by J. Jeffers & Co. Offering the best rooftop views in the city, a state-of-the-art fitness center, premier dining and event spaces, the MAC creates an inviting space for future civic leaders to gather once again.

Thank you to J. Jeffers & Co. for sponsoring Doors Open Milwaukee!
