Building Description
Along with being a model railroad club, we are the stewards of a genuine Milwaukee item- a railroad station which is more than 100 years old.
We invite people to become members, people who are interested in keeping this LIVING MUSEUM going. No model experience required-
Normal household skills are appreciated- carpentry, painting, electrical, cleaning up, occasionally.
Don’t have your own models? Members can use club-owned equipment, after a quick course on how to operate.
If you want to explore membership, see one of the members, or come on down for a few Monday nights and see if we make a good fit.
Visitor Experience
After a brief welcoming and historical statement, visitors are encouraged to explore the visitors’ areas.
We encourage visitors to ask questions, take videos and take photos.
The club was organized in 1934, and the club first came to this location in 1936
The layout is the SECOND layout here, and it will be 76 years old this year.
