Orlandini Studios

Orlandini is a family-owned business that has made ornamental plaster in Milwaukee for over 80 years. Their work is in (among other places) the Pabst Theater, the Riverside Theater, Uihlein Hall, Villa Terrace, St Josaphat’s Basilica, and countless private homes. The shop is both working space and showroom: examples of plaster decoration they have made cover the walls.

They preserve and restore architectural elements in all manner of buildings, doing work that many people believe is obsolete, or even “lost.”

 

There will be a tour of the premises, demonstration of casting techniques, and explanation of how they create and install their work.
