Building Description
Orlandini Studios is a third generation family-owned business that has made ornamental plaster in Milwaukee for over 80 years. Their work is in (among other places) the Pabst Theater, the Riverside Theater, Uihlein Hall, Villa Terrace, St Josaphat’s Basilica, and countless private homes. The shop is both working space and showroom: examples of plaster decoration they have made cover the walls. They preserve and restore architectural elements in all manner of buildings, doing work that many people believe is obsolete, or even “lost.”
Visitor Experience
We will give two different talks, one about our history, and one about how we do our work, and answer questions. Visitors can walk around the office and shop and look at our plaster works created over our 90 years of operation.
