Building Description
Pathways High is a public, charter school that enrolls students from across Milwaukee and the surrounding suburbs. Pathways High implements a project based learning model that utilizes interdisciplinary seminars and real world experiences. Daily, students are living out the school’s vital mission, “To Unleash all Learners’ Potential. Now.”
In 1954, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church started services in this building. The building is a two-story, front gable, Neogothic Revival church. The walls are clad in Lannon stone with a barrel-vaulted ceiling in the sanctuary area. Our Savior’s Lutheran Church was designed by local church architect Hugo Haeuser. And the buildings’ stained glass windows were designed by Karl Fridlemeier. This location served the community well as an early Norwegian Lutheran church in Milwaukee.
Pathways High started their vibrant mission at this location in 2020. Come see how the school transformed this building into a project based, real world learning center.
