Building Description
The Pritzlaff Buildings are a complex of 6 connected buildings constructed from 1875 to 1920 for Prtizlaff Hardware. The buildings are 4 and 7 story heavy timber and cream city brick. The original 3 buildings are Italianate design by Architect and General Contractor John Rugee. Pritzlaff Hardware grew to be the largest hardware wholesaler in the Northwest and had 16 buildings at this location. The buildings underwent a full historic restoration by Sunset Investors starting in 2006. At this time there are 2 restaurants plus a 3rd under construction, 2 Event Halls, and 2 businesses on the first floor, 50,000sf of offices on the second floor, and 100 apartments on floors 3-7. You will get to browse the massive Pritzlaff Hardware catalogs and take a guided tour of the building.
