Saint John’s On The Lake has been part of the rich history of Milwaukee’s east side for 152 years. Our current campus has three towers of Independent Living apartments overlooking the bluffs of Lake Michigan and the vibrant, walkable (walk score 92; a walker’s paradise) cityside to the west.
We invite you to tour our highlights of our beautiful campus through our video links.
Saint John’s is a vibrant, inclusive destination community for older adults now celebrating our 152nd Anniversary. The buildings were designed by award winning architecture and design firms, Perkins-Eastman, Chicago, Illinois; Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA), Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Blitch Knevel Architects, New Orleans, Louisiana and AG Architects, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The South Tower which opened in 2011 is considered one of the 10 most significant buildings that changes Milwaukee’s skyline. Our most recent building, the 22-story North Tower, opened in January 2020.
Saint John’s is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), in senior living this is also known as a Life Plan community which means Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Care for short-term progressive rehabilitation or long-term care all offered on this campus.
