Building Description
For nearly a decade, UWM’s Connected Systems Institute has been at the forefront of developing advanced manufacturing processes. Located in the East Wing of the Golda Meir Wing Library, it serves as a nexus for UWM students, faculty and industry partners to work together. It’s also the home of Microsoft’s AI Co-Innovation Lab, the first such lab with a dedicated focus on helping manufacturing advance their competitive edge through AI.
Visitor Experience
Get a firsthand glimpse at what the future of manufacturing looks like. You’ll see a state-of-the-art lab, which features a fully functional manufacturing cell that uses advanced systems like artfical intelligence, robotics and operational-technology cybersecurity. You’ll also learn about UWM’s SAP University Competence Center, one of only five such centers worldwide, which gives students hand-on access to enterprise technology.
