Building Description

Spacious and acoustically rich, the Mainstage Theatre inside the Peck School of the Arts provides a captivating experience for both performers and audiences. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and adaptable staging capabilities, it sets the perfect backdrop for theatrical productions, musical performances and dance concerts. The three-quarter hybrid thrust space provides excellent views from any of the 290 wide-format patron chairs and its spacious ADA accessible seating areas, ensuring that every performance is a memorable and transformative experience.

Visitor Experience

Walk through the Mainstage Theatre and see where stories come to life, including a glimpse of the set for “Company” by Stephen Sondheim, which runs Oct. 7-11. Also, explore artifacts from past performances in the theater’s lobby, including photographs and wardrobes from productions dating as far back as the professional acting training program’s inaugural class in 1979.
