Marvel at rich architectural details and furnishings, including grand curved glass bay windows overlooking the lake. Built in 1903, McIntosh Goodrich Mansion has been the home of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music since 1933.

Founded in 1899, the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music is the oldest nonprofit independent music school in Wisconsin, housing an extensive music library and offering private lessons, class instruction, and performance opportunities. For over a century the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music has taught thousands of professional and amateur musicians.

The McIntosh/Goodrich Mansion was built in 1904 and has served as the organization’s flagship location since 1934. Housing dozens of practice rooms and the finest musical instruments, the McIntosh/Goodrich Mansion is the perfect location for anyone to learn and grow as a musician.

Guided tours will be offered at the top and half of each hour.

Explore this neo-classical revival mansion throughout the weekend with a self-guided pamphlet or enjoy a guided highlights tour on Sunday, offered every hour on the hour.

A fully functioning music school, this neo-classical revival style mansion, completed in 1904, was home to industrialist Charles L. McIntosh; then linseed oil businessman William Osborne Goodrich prior to the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in 1934.
