Merrill Park – Poster

The Merrill Park poster depicts St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, a landmark in the neighborhood since 1889. Well over 100 years old, the church remains a center of social, political and religious activity, though its appearance changed when the spires were removed.

Illustrated by Jan Kotowicz, this poster is part of a series of 27 neighborhood posters that were originally published by the City of Milwaukee between 1980 and 1995.
