North Milwaukee – Poster

North Milwaukee’s former village hall is depicted on this poster as a reminder that the area was independent from 1897-1929. Today, bungalows are the most common housing type in North Milwaukee.

Illustrated by Jan Kotowicz, this poster is part of a series of 27 neighborhood posters that were originally published by the City of Milwaukee between 1980 and 1995.
